FARM AID
food is important. music is fun. festivals are cool. SO ALL YOU STONEHILL KIDS SHOULD TOTALLY GO TO FARM AID!!!! i went last year and had a blast. like seriously, who doesnt like a 12 hour outdoor music festival? i took a lovely little nap probably during the counting crows or guster. plus everyone there really cares about food and the environment. i had a lovely slice of vegan flatbread....who can resist that?!?!? now go, because its in masfield which is so close!!!!

i just remembered! the always fun Solar 1 is hosting New York Magazine's Highbrow BBQ. Islands will be performing right by the east river. Top Chef contestant will be cooking up a storm. you should go....august 23rd from 1-5pm. tickets are 25$

So, I've been researching projects for the solar 1 education wiki and i came across PARK[ing] DAY. Its worth checking out if you're gonna be in LA Sept 19th, and you're interested in reclamation, public events, and sustainability.
